"It was so fun! Today I made an igloo with marshmallows! Do you want to see it?"
My husband answered, "Sure."
"Where did I put it..."
"I would look in your room." I said.
The child ran to the bedroom, giving me ample time to dig through the garbage and pull it out.
Life lesson-Wait at least one day to "file away" the kids school projects.

I probably make my children's guardian angels cry.
#1 I LOVE that you comment on your own blog, even the first to do so many times.
#2 That is so funny!
*jaw pops open*
so thats where my (insert project that I have ever done) went! I think its an asian mormon mother thing.
btw, I don't think I have ever identified myself. I guess I am a blog stalker
At least you know what you're doing. My husband has, on several occasions, thrown away our kids' homework before they even turned it in and got credit. (Fortunately, it's usually in the recycling bin, so it's not quite so gross to fish for it.)
Repent!!!
I'm surprised DCFS hasn't been called yet. Poor, poor children.
So is it back in the garbage now or is it on the fridge?
That is sooooo what I do. Thanks for validating me.
JJWT is ALWAYS accidentally tossing my crafts! Weeeird!
I'm so glad you posted the picture. I have to say, I save very few of my kids projects, but that one was so cute, I would have waited at least a week (until the 3 year old had eaten at least half of the marshmallows) before tossing it.
oh, I have been caught doing this too!!
you have to wait until they bring home the next project before discarding the previous one!
