How to raise a Man-Child

Always refer to him as a super-hero, like "Captain Tree-Hugger."

Encourage him to bond with nature.

Always avoid the appearance of evil.

If you want him to grow up to be a man, you need to let him get his hands dirty...

...But he also must know when to be proper.

Let the father teach him by example.

Help him ride the waves of life.

When he asks you to paint his nails, always make sure he is wearing a tough guy shirt.

Wow, he's really growing up! And I see he's not so chubby anymore, but he still looks very huggable.

(I'm sure this is all good advice, but sadly not necessary in our home.)

from the above I comment, I can only infer that the lad featured in this post is the forementioned 'fat child' you had. how cute.

btw, what are the chances that you can be my long-lost mother. that would just be awesome. my mother-mother is always telling me how I was adopted

I love your man child. Good job! I love mine, too. I read once that there's nothing as lovable as seeing a man holding a dishtowel - but I think pushing a vacuum is right up there... Dusting is good, too. How I miss my son...
