Be honest...

Is it wrong to give your kids Christmas cookies, caramel popcorn, and chocolate covered pretzels for breakfast?

It's only wrong on a school day. Well, the Primary workers would probably appreciate a little sugar restraint also.

It's not wrong, it's efficient. (Thanks for the dinner idea.)

Let's see...
Popcorn is a vegetable, caramel comes from sugar cane, which also grows. It's like that book, Deliciously Deceptive (or whatever...)! You're tricking your kids into eating corn, by hiding it inside sugar. Sneaky! Way to get your kids eating their veggies!

Pretzels are a grain.

If the chocolate is milk chocolate, then you've got dairy.

Plus chocolate comes from cacao beans, and beans are protein.

AND, chocolate has antioxidants, and natural antidepressants, Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, E and pantothenic acid, and minerals including magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, copper, potassium and manganese.

The chocolate also has fat, which is essential because the brain is pretty fatty.

Not sure what the Christmas cookies have in them, but hopefully at least some egg; those are full of goodies.

AND! Giving them Christmas cookies is good for them, too, because studies have shown that people are healthier if they have religion in their lives. So if you give your kids Christmas cookies, it's because you're observing a faith in your home, and [quick Google search] your kids will be happier, and your family will be stronger. Your kids will be more likely to take advance courses and even spend more time on their homework, and reach a higher level of education.

Mmmkay, I guess that's plenty of that, eh? (I should quit procrastinating and go back to homework.)

Way to go!

It's incredible that you were able to give your kids SUCH a balanced and nutritious meal. All those minerals and like, homework benefits!? Holy smokes.

Totally acceptable .. especially if you give some ice cream to help them cleanse the pallet afterward. =)

That sounds like something your husband would have for breakfast and he turned out just fine. :D

I guess it depends on what they did wrong??
