Without fail, whenever my husband watches a sporting event on TV (which admittedly does not happen very often), I always walk in demanding his attention during the last minute of the game. It is to the point where I'll walk in and start talking to him and he just laughs and says, "Of course you need me now. It is, after all, the last minute of the game."
In my defense, however, because of fouls, time-outs, commercials, replays, etc, "the last minute of the game" is usually 10-20 minutes. And, since it is most likely happening at supper time and the kids bedtime, I will be interrupting him during the last minute of the game for... let's see... forever.
But I'll tell him that in one more minute.

It's funny how a husband's version of "Just one more minute..." lasts for 20 minutes. But when the wife says it, then the husband expects a response in 60 seconds or less. Preferably less.
